This book is great! It also reminds me of another book allowed you to play a Dragon in old school TSR D&D. The name escapes me at the moment though, maybe you know it???

The Feats and some class features need reworded to fit 5E. Flyby, Debilitating Breath, Vorpal Severing(Mostly the last line), Sculpted Breath, Reflective Scales(maybe change it to Magic Resistance), Pinion Strike (Speed becomes Zero instead of prone or a DC for being knock prone), and the DC needs to be 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier not 10 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier..

My GM is using this PDF to help me create one of my characters, but we noticed that its lacking the Dragon Hero part that allows the Tananim to take classes outside of the PDF archtypes. Will there be an update to the pdf soon to include this?

Is this an updated "Council of Wyrms"?

No, this is playable dragons alongside other PCs, Council of Wyrms is IP of WotC and cannot be done (not even with DMsGuild), this is simply a supplement using the 5E OGL that allows you to play dragons, I might suggest reading the free preview.

Should the language "Once per day" Be changed to "Once per long rest, or "You cannot use this feature again until you have finished a long rest?"

The "once per day" is for several specific powerful abilities. Those are intended to only be used once per day, very similar to other racial abilities in 5th edition.

Had a question about the phrasing in the Scaled Juggernaut fighter archetype on page 11. It says "Scaled juggernauts eschew weapon and armor" for their fighting style, but doesn't seem to have a penalty for choosing to wear armor and the +1 bonus to AC hardly offsets choice to go without. Are they intended to wear armor, and if not is the AC bonus correct as written?

I have noticed a couple of errors in the Feats section. On Page 22 in the Belly of the beast feat text the sentence that tells you what the DC for escaping the swallow is incomplete and does not tell you how that DC is calculated. On page 24, it seems like the last sentence is missing the first part and is a little confusing. Should something like "If the creature is still alive, choose an ability score. The creature has..." appear before it?

I still have this issue and I just downloaded the PDF today. What should the DC be?

This release does beg the question. Will we be seeing content from the revised pathfinder book converted to 5th edition? I backed it at the tier for the physical book and was ok switching to pathfinder but me and my players prefer 5E.

If the product does well, its a possibility, but i all depends on if In the Company of Dragons 5e is profitable for us. Plus the expanded version is not even finished yet.

I notice some refinements compared to the original Pathfinder book of ITCoE when I look at sections like feats, I'm guessing this says a few things about what will be in the revised Pathfinder book.

No what it really talks about is the differences between 5e and Pathfinder, they are very different systems, especially when it comes to class design and archetype design.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
