Fear the Evenfall - A Vaesen Mystery

In which a rural community is paralysed by night terrors…

What would you do if every time you closed your eyes you felt something stalking you, something flowing into your room and pressing down on your chest? What does it want? Why won’t it stop?

This Vaesen Nordic Horror RPG Mystery takes us to the rural heartland of Sweden between Stockholm and Gothenburg, where traditional domains such as farming and fishing are in competition with new mining and smelting methods. The people bringing in these new ideas are immigrants from Belgium who keep separate their language and religion.

Our scenario begins in the chill and misty autumn after a fine summer, but it has not been fine for the locals of Doverstorp; the harvest is unaccountably meagre, and many of the locals are ill. On top of these woes the youth in the Finspång Kommun have begun to be attacked at night, and many claim nightmares are a daily occurrence. Can our investigators work out what is wrong before someone is badly hurt?
