Anywhen Adventures

Nine adventures spanning space and time across the pulp multiverse! From 3500 BC to 2210 AD, just about every genre is in here, including Bronze Age sword and sandal, gothic horror, cyberpunk, wuxia, chanbara (samurai), fantasy, and gritty sci-fi. Pre-generated characters and optional Spot Rules are provided to better simulate the ‘feel’ of each setting. Though written for the rules-lite, cinematic Everywhen system (based on Simon Washbourne’s original Barbarians of Lemuria), these adventures are easily adapted to other RPG rulesets.

The Empyrean Gambit

It’s 3,500 BC; God Kings live for centuries in mystical Mesopotamia, where city states wage ceaseless war with their neighbors. The balance of power is soon shattered, when Sorcerer Naram Eil discovers the ultimate siege weapon--the constellations themselves!

It’s 521; life was peaceful on the Isle of Lethra, until Hrothgar showed up. Now the king of the Spear Danes has a new champion, and this musclebound moron won’t stop until he’s killed every monster and hung their body parts above Heorot’s hearth.

Leopard in Eagle’s Shadow

It’s 1275; after a change of heart, Warlord Yanxiang disbands the Yellow Talon fighting clan. He renounces his evil ways to join the monks of Shaolin, but his four disciples--Southern King Chou Shih, Northern Empress Mei Pei Yin, Ogre Zhou, and Death Scholar Meng--aren’t ready to give up yet.

Conclave of Blood

It’s 1573; professional vampire-hunters are invited to a remote French monastery to share trade secrets. Questions soon arise, however, about the secretive monks and their head abbot. As dread secrets come to light, will Heroes ultimately side with the Dead against the living?

It’s 1987; adolescent punks in small town America are looking to kill a Friday night at the drive-in. But when undead bikers come roaring off the screen, our teenage anti-heroes are the only thing standing between them and high octane vengeance!

Miami Splice

It’s 204X; word on the street says a huge drug shipment’s headed for the half-flooded city of Miami. With vice cops and criminals alike scrabbling for a cut, all leads point to the Pet Shoppe, a genesplice brothel that takes fur fetish to a new level!

Anomaly M

It’s 2210; space truckers on a deadhead run are re-routed to  LFT 1747-6. The mist-shrouded planet has a massive alien relic locked in low orbit, and everyone wants a piece of it. Two rival megacorps, it seems, have found a real use for the Big Dumb Object!
