Very nice. A bit darker than Cathedral at Dawn in my opinion. Very much a forest or outdoor setting. I really like all of Gil Luna's work, it's all great. I really appreciate how he specifically describes each piece, rather than just offering the title, like another background gaming audio publisher.

The Ambient Environments soundscapes are quality recordings that combine sound and music into an audio atmosphere for your storytelling games. Each track is ten minutes long, with no fade in/out at the start or end, making them perfect for continuous looping. While reviewing this series, I played each track in the background and often didn't notice when it had started over. The sound levels are compressed very well, which means that there will be very few distracting volume changes when you play these during a session. And at $.99, the price is very reasonable.

The Druid Ceremony soundscape features birds singing, deep male chanting, melodic female singing, and drums. This track is actually pleasing enough to listen to as background music even when you're not running a game!

This may be one my favorite tracks from Gil Luna yet. The pulse of drums, twittering of birds, ambient vocals, and other audible elements of this track deliver a feeling of awe, sacredness, and nature. Admitting the influence of the track's name, I can easily picture myself at Stonehenge or some other circle of standing stones, looking on while druids do their thing. I also like this track just for listening; earlier today I had it looping for over an hour while I worked on another project, and it never became distracting or boring.

Thanks Chris! Glad you enjoyed it. Forest of the Fae is similar in that context as far as listenability goes. Thanks for all of your reviews. It helps me see where I can make improvements and do! Cheers! ~g
