A very helpful guide to color this site in Tomb of Annihilation, on the peninsula of Chult, in the Port Nyanzaru. I was able to leverage the setup for prep and then put maps in Owlbear.Rodeo and it was so smooth.
The players enjoyed the color added by this supplement.

I continue to be impressed with how Mike Shea puts thoughts to paper (or PDF) in a concise, easy to consume and use fashion. I have already started using techniques from this companion and other resources of Mike's. The Sly Flourish "Lazy DM" series has changed my approach for the better and this companion is a great tool to either build off, or stand-alone from, his other products.

I really appreciate the menu, map, and writeup of the rooms. The owner angle was okay for me, so I used it. In hindsight, the family that owns (according to this) TTL could use a little more flair. I was able to use the map in Owlbear.Rodeo and put the map in my campaign's Discord channel to share. This spiced things up and gave the players more to 'chew' on...
Thanks for building out this location, it has helped me visualize the tavern and use it as encounter with tactics (I previously ran it as Theater of the Mind, which was fine, but this was better).

Very handy having an alternative guide to items that create unique situations in the game. Rather than thinking "damage" changes or AC changes, many of these items challenge the user to think differently. The guide is agnostic of systems, though it suggests Gold cost and provides a suggested type (Common, Uncommon, etc...) and a 'tag' similar to Dungeon World, which helps DM and Player fit the weapon into the their TTRPG of choice.
Thanks for this excellent, thought provoking catalogue.

Since purchasing those years ago, this reference book as been a guiding force in reducing my game prep and making it far more enjoyable to plan out next sessions and campaigns with my players. While it may seem silly, this book was life-changing for me. Before reading and engaging with the entire Sly Flourish ecosystem (website, blogs, adventures, Discord server, Twitch TV Sunday morning preps) I was overwhelmed with preparation for game sessions and campaigns.
This reference changed all of that and I am grateful for Sly Flourish sharing insights and templates that might seem simple, but eased my anxiety going into game nights. As I said, "life changing", as in anxiety was preventing me from enjoying the experience of being a DM.
I cannot recommend enough, and I am a patron now, of Sly Flourish, as a thank you to the positive impact his published materials have given me.

A great little resource that I use/refer to often. A great guide for ideas for when PC's stop in or ask around for places to vist and things to eat/drink.

I printed out and put in a folder with each campaign I run in Faerun. A very useful tool for tracking campaign events, fronts, and overall player timelines.

Ah, the good old IF (interactive fiction) days...Action Castle is well done and translates computer into analogue experience very well. I used this as a guide for change in bedtime reading with my daughter and had a ton of fun. Later, I tried porting this to Inform7. Such a great concept, well thought out and executed in a simple, easy to learn fashion. Set your imagination loose with Action Castle and other titles.

As an aspiring DM, I found this adventure to hit on all three pillars of D&D (Exploration, Role Play, Combat). The book is broken down in easily consumable parts, the maps are straightforward, and the scenery is a fresh take that avoids 'traditional' Underdark entities.
I am running for two players (and they each use a side-kick) and so far they seem to really enjoy the adventures. Using gTove (https://illuminantgames.com/gtove) as my mapping tool and Discord for chat/talk has worked very well. The included maps import into gTove easily and character portraits and art of scenes are bonus additions.
I look forward to using the Appendices to enhance the adventures after the core stories are completed.
Having used other tools from this author, I would like to point out the high quality and thought that seems to go into Sly's creations. I have the hardback, pdf, map files, etc...and I am very pleased with the overall quality of this product.

Great adventure! The theme, environment, creatures, and all are neatly packed in this adventure. As a new DW narrator, having this guide as a tool made it easier to run first-timers through an adventure. The quality of material, talking about creatures, and explaining fronts, etc...all make for a great guide.

I was able to weave this delve into the 5E Mine's of Phandelver. I placed the cave deep under the water of Area 16 in Wave Echo Cave. The flumphs were hard to explain, being there deep underwater, but I was able to weave the crystal creature into the explanation.
Now the group is considering flooding the cave, to prevent anyone/thing from using the area again...I am thinking that if they do this, it will crush the crystals and release undead, incorporeal creatures unto the cave. Furthermore, I had Mormesk harvesting the crystals, to use the necromantic energy to fuel the forge and flip its use.
Great stuff to work with. Really enjoyed the art of the map and look forward to how my PC's will figure things out and rid the world of these evil entities. Thanks for the inspiration. Downloading more of your work and will contribute, if able.
Also, I was able to quickly capture the map in 3DVTT on my iPad and import into the campaign immediately.
