I love how in a relatively short space, this product manages to paint a fascinating portrait of a 'city of the dead' unlike any other I've ever seen. It layers history and necromancy with conservation and reclamation, while setting up plenty of conflict from each faction. I would love to adventure in the lost city of Moüd! It serves as a distant mystery to tempt players through dangerous desert, and when you arrive, there's a lively trade in the magic of the dead!

It's rare to find a fantasy setting where what's new and unique about it is fully realized and integrated into its workings, rather than merely decorative. The city of Ironfire, thus far the first place we've visited in Sundara, takes its beating industrial heart and builds it into a working city- one built on promises instead of betrayals, with unique culture rooted in its beginnings and branching into something new and fascinating. And it belies the trope that an industrial, vulcanic city must perforce be grim, dour, and covered in soot- just as there is a plan with regards to adventure, so too is there an underlying plan with regards to the civic works that make Ironfire a place of invention and thriving infrastructure, and yet with plenty of room left for adventurous shenanigans! This place has a pulse, and makes good use of every piece of material it touches.

Ten out of ten, would buy again! And I can't wait to see where the trade-roads lead us next!

Wonderful stuff! Each noble house has a unique schtick that makes them notable while still being easily dropped in to nearly any fantastical kingdom, and each one has hints of meat and mystery that can be kept as is or expanded upon at the user's choice. It spans the range of fantastic species and implied game-class preferences, offering diverse utility and flavor to pick from!

False Valor is simple, brutal and effective- the twist brings up possibilities to flesh things out into larger themes in a campaign, or keep as a one-off mystery for the PCs to solve and try and bring peace and closure to a town on the brink of violent eruption. Very clear read, simple but with nuance!

Wonderful collection of NPCs! The set is not only diverse in species, character class, etc, but in many other aspects that make each one both interesting and of interest, adding potential breadth and depth to any game they show up in! I'm fond of the orcs in particular, as well as the ranger who seems like she might have been raised by wolves, but is very probably autistic. No one's individuality is presented with any kind of mockery, but the range offered goes well beyond the standard published fare- and they still fit into any world you'll put them in, easy as pie.

Wonderful set of rumors and truths, each with an intriguing set-up and a fun twist in the end! Each has the potential to springboard your players into other adventures, to build upon a facet of the world you drop them into, and to get the imagination roiling- an excellent source of inspiration!
