Very well-written, and lots of fun! I played the character Brangaine and later purhcased the game in its entirety because I really rather fell in love. Reading over it, I adore the characterization and the plots are very well crafted. There are some truly original takes on the old myths, ranging from the dark to the wonderfully unpredictable.

The game does require a lot of initiative on the player's part, and some of the characters can feel limited. Guinevere seemed like a role without much to do, and as Brangaine I ran out of plot two thirds through the game(and due to her particular limitations it was difficult to insert myself into other plots as well!)... Though that was quite coincidental. Some of the characters do not seem to have all the information they require, particularly the Mordred/Morgan/Morgause-trio who should all know their family history. That's an easy task for a GM to fix in the minutes leading up to a game, however, and should not deter anyone from purchasing this! This was a big hit with our group and everyone had intense amounts of fun, which is always what matters most. :) Recommended!

I had a lot of fun with this LARP! It was very well written with multiple layers of overlapping plots leading to fascinating gameplay - with action happening on the chivalric and romantic levels, the political scale and also the divine and mystic levels as well. I also really enjoyed the depth of knowledge of the Arthurian myths that it displayed, using sources from White to de Troyes. Highly recommended!

I have played this game twice, once in Auckland (as Merlin) and once in Wellington (as Gawaine). It perfectly captures the key stories and themes of the Arthurian cycle and mixes them together in interesting ways, without dictating any outcomes. The mechanics are simple and effective, and promote a "360 degree illusion" style of play. I highly recommend it.

I played this game about two years ago and we still talk about it. It was a great game and having just looked through the published material I'm amazed at the quality of it. This is a very well written professional publication and I'm 100% confidant anyone who purchases it will feel likewise.

I played Sir Gawain in the game and it still makes me smile thinking back on the subtlety of the plot and how much fun this character was.

I played this game when it first ran in Auckland, NZ and I have to say it was easily the best game I played that year! The characters are compelling and well-written, and the setting is just beautiful. Best played in the summer, in a grove or meadow with some sort of pavillion to really get the feel of the English countryside.
